I went for an evening meal with my wife, 3 year old son and baby girl. Both me and my son were feeling particularly unwell and hence I imagine we were not ideal guests.
However, we were treated like royalty throughout the meal, with the perfect balance of non-intrusive guidance and polite banter from the best waiter I've yet to be served by (and I travel 50% of the time with a generous business expense account).
The food (even for the area) was superb. I like Lazio food, but can sometimes find it a bit heavy and over-salted, however the dishes served here were tasty without being overbearing, and made good use of local ingredients.
The setting is stunning - I definitely want to return now that I'm in better health!
