If you love Indian food, you’ll love Hathim in Don Det. Thali was amazing and a ton of food. Masala tea well spiced and hot as it should be. The woman that owns the restaurant is friendly,kind, and always had a smile. Breakfast roti with mango and chocolate to die for. Two thumbs way up. DONT MISS THIS GEM!

You don’t come here for the river views, or the cool music.
You come here because it’s the best Indian food in Laos. Take a curry, their mild and delicious. The naan is real naan like in India. And if you prefer your curry hot, just ask and they’ll make it hot.

And as a bonus: the family that run the place as the most gentle people you’ll meet.

Had a butter chicken, chicken tikka and the garlic naan. They were amazing! Very friendly staff to top off the evening.

I was looking for a place where I could eat delicious, healthy and cheap food and voilà ! This amazing place appeared. I am happy to have found good Indian food because I really love it. The woman working there has a beautiful smile, you feel like in home.

Me and my partner ate here 3 times on our trip to don det!! The curry is amazing, the butter chicken is the best one I've had since being in North India! The rice and garlic nan also amazing. The price is so affordable for backpackers and the lady who owns this is so sweet. Defenitly a must of your on Don det.
