This was a lovely, relaxing hotel just a few minute drive from Bra. The grounds are really beautiful and it was great to be able to enjoy their pool and spa. It's very centrally located and only a 20-30 minute drive to Alba, Barolo, La Morra, Barbaresco and Neive. The restaurant is also really good!

Room Tip: I'd request a room on the 1st floor, the views from the second floor rooms are obscured by the roof line

We were there with a large group of cyclists. The rooms were excellent. Food was good however we had a set menu and service was rather slow. The facilities are first class and you must visit the wine cellars. This hotel is also part of the university of gastronomy

This beautifully renovated hotel (formerly the palace of the House of Savoy) is in the ideal location for touring the wine country in Italy. Barolo is just a few miles away. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms impeccable. This hotel is also home to the Gastronomic University in Italy. The hotel restaurant uses the chef from the cooking school and the food is some of the best in all of Europe! It also has an underground wine bank that is definitely worth touring. The staff is warm and welcoming as well. Everything about this hotel is ideal!

The hotel staff is very frendy and helpfull. We received a free upgrade of the room in the quiet May period. The building is part of a Unesco World Heritage site: very beautiful and worthwhile to have a stroll on the campus.
Rooms a very comfortable and spacious.
You're in the centre of slow food, being so close to the University of Gastronomic Science. A must for foodies: wine bank and dining in the hotel's restaurant which is of great "slow food" quality.
