Sep 2020 we decided it’s time to take the kids out and show them some place rich in culture, surrounded by greens and fairly isolated.
Our usual agent recommended- KHAS BAGH, along with our close friends, 8 of us, we set out to spend 2 nights here.
Just a 3 hr drive from Gurgaon, we were there 2 hrs earlier to check in and the staff was happy we were. The place is so richly done, the first 2 hours went is just ogling.
The stone work, the furniture, auctioned art artefacts from 220 years ago and horses all over, from door knows to curtain rods. (See pic)
We were elated. Kids ran to the pool while we took our work calls from the roof overlooking the Aravalis. Lunch followed and it was the best food we had in a long time. Avoid ordering Chinese, we did cause of kids and latter realised, it’s best to order Indian here and they will always surprise you with the same. Ask for Lal Maas with misi roti.
We had to meet the creator of the property, everything was so tastefully done, and we did. Ransher Rathore, spent some quality time with us, even though he had a polo match latter in the day and made us feel special.
We knew then that his vision with the place is so pristine that this place will always be about quality and experiences.
