We went with my husband's parents, his sister and her family with 2 kids to have a short birthday stay with Grand Lagoi. They provide event package such as Anniversary, Birthday etc and I opted for Birthday package. The package comprised of beautiful room deco which is extensive and comes with a delicious15x15cm fruit cheesecake. The staff will reply to your email inquiries fast (which I love) and their services were good. Special mention to Kisto Orlando for being really efficient in his services rendered. Since I had been planning for birthday surprises and liasing with him wasn't a problem at all.
They also had karaoke in the vicinity which our family loved doing. The hotel located just beside the Lagoi Plaza (which provides more activities and affordable kopitiam) as well as 5 mins walk to the Lagoi Beach. The beach was to die for! Private, quite, serene and not crowded at all.
We'd love to come back here again. Thank you!

2nd stay at this beautiful resort. Some might call this resort a ghost town as there's usually no other tourists around but thats why its a great place to stay at. Stayed here with my partner and we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. The staffs were friendly, always smiling when they see us. The resort is still quite new thus everything looks so clean.
I actually left my slippers at the swimming pool area and only realised it the day after and the staffs were so efficient in checking the lost and found for me and returned my slippers back to my room ! Thank you so much for that !
Definitely gonna stay here again and I recommend everyone to stay here too.

Stayed for 3 nights just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. So location is good as it was very quiet, not much kids in the property while I was there. Breakfast was pretty decent, staffs were all helpful and accommodating to our needs.

We have stayed at Grand Lagoi before it became part of Nirwana Gardens . Unlike other Bintan resorts this one is great as it gives the resort feel as well as has options for food beyond the hotel as Plaza lagoi is right next door .
This was our first trip after the take over we have stayed there twice before .
We were told they only supply 2 bottles for mineral water for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids below . They also have shut all the entertainment like boating and fishing in the lake which my kids loved . The restaurant menu has gone thinner .
So overall while it’s a great property and we loved the Lagoi Bay and Lake we were tad disappointed with the hotel this time around as we had the benchmark of previous two experiences which really made us feel at home compared to this time .
