Well I don't really know where to start to be honest. Me, the wife and my dog came here for a nice little break. We got there and everything seemed ok and got to our caravan and that seemed fine aswell. We got settled by unpacking our bags and walking our dog around the resort.
Night time came and we got settled for bed.
The bed was the most Uncomfortable bed I have EVER led on. I could feel the springs and they were ridiculously irritating. Not only that before we arrived someone had turned the boiler off but we only found that out the day after when someone came to look at it. We woke up numerous times shivering and so so cold.
We were up at 6 that morning as we couldn't cope any more with the coldness. After the gentleman had been to check the boiler and after he told us someone had turned it off (person who cleaned he caravan before we got there) we were then looking forward to a pleasant warm night. When it got to that night we decided the mattress just wasn't suitable so made a bed up on the floor and yet again the caravan radiators didn't seem to warm up and the shower wasn't creating hot water so after a cool shower we got in to our bed we had made on the floor.
To be fair we slept much better but did wake up still a little bit colder as we didn't want to sleep with the electric fire on due to it possibly being dangerous.
That morning we then phone up and said yet again the boiler isn't working. We told them at we were going out and the lady on the phone said it is fine someone will go in and fix it for us. We left at 11 and came back at 4ish and no one had been to sort the issue. We then rang up and within 10 minutes someone arrived to fix the problem which was the gas had run out. Finally we were looking forward to a warm night and it was just that. That night we decided to try the local chippy on the premises and was looking forward to having a haggis. You would think a Scottish chippy would have haggis. Nope! Somehow they had sold out of it. So I went for the 2nd best item on the menu and ate that. The resort also did decent food like steaks and was really tasty. The only bad thing about the restaurant was that they left the door wide open to the kids entertainer. You don't really want to be listening to the music man while eating your steak.

All in all our break was disappointing and I don't think I would be visiting the resort again unfortunately.

Just home from spending 4 days at Tummel in Lodge 23, very spacious accommodation, everything you need for a home from home. Great that Charlie dog was welcome too!! Plenty space between lodges and a quiet and peaceful stay.

Great long weekend, log cabins were well equipped, clean and in a fantastic location. Evening entertainment provided even in the quiet months which was a good surprise. Lots to do locally and pet friendly. If you are arriving in the dark the cabin numbers are difficult to find. Food in the restaurant was very good. Really enjoyed our stay will definitely return

Stayed here for a weekend, 2 adults and 3 children. Used as a base for a visit to the enchanted forest. 20 min drive to Pitlochry. Upon arrival we were delighted to have been upgraded, caravan was spotless and very modern. One of the nicest I have stayed in. Entertainment fun for the kids, swimming pool warm and inviting. Area beautiful. Would recommend and hopefully would like to return.

Quiet location and like the way the caravans are spread through the woods around ponds and along streams. Facilities are good with lounge bar, pool and restaurant on site. New menus low prices and table service make the holiday more enjoyable. Bar busy and queues can form as too few barstaff to cope.
