Our daughter got married here when she and her partner told us they were getting married in a hotel I wasn't best pleased, only because I stay in many hotels and most are very corporate.
However this hotel is something else the staff are the best ! Only 12 rooms that give it a very personal touch very in formal fantastic location, the food & facilities are second to none in all it made a very memorable day .
Thank you so much to all at the Forrest hotel for making our day so so special.

We stayed for one night B&B, eating in the evening at the restaurant there. Reception accommodating and generally a nice hotel (probably 3 star) with pleasant room (clean, spacious). Restaurant was ok - nothing special (relatively expensive for what it is). Service quite poor - a few youngish waitresses who didn't really give the impression they were that interested in customers at all. Felt like we were intruding a bit when we first entered and were seated. Nevertheless, bar area afterwards for a drink was enjoyable. Quite quiet that night which made it relaxing - barman was attentive and good humoured. Breakfast the following morning was especially good - varied options and plentiful. All in all, would recommend for a stay but maybe think of taking dinner in one of the many restaurants nearby - particularly in Knowle.

Excelkent location next to the station and easy access to the M42. Easy and spacious parking.

Rooms are of a very high standard and well maintained. Decor is boutique style. Beds are comfy.

Warm and welciming staff.

Breakfast is hearty and delicious.

Only issue staying on a sunday eve was that the restaurant was closed.

Great place will stay again.

It was a perfect location for our visit, small but clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. Best of all... after we left we realized we had left a handbag. We rang the hotel that day and was told to ring back the following morning to speak with the house keeper. When we rang back as requested and it was confirmed the bag was found and it was posted back straight away.
