We recently spent 2 nights at the Highland Croft. Dale and Julia were wonderful hosts giving us a warm welcome and lovely breakfasts. The house is situated in a stunning location and Dale is extremely knowledgeable regarding walks in the area, giving us in depth information prior to us heading out each day. Thank you.

The BnB is located right at the Loch - if you don't mind the ice-cold water you can even take a dip before breakfast. All you have to do is to pass Dales sheep which are grazing right next to the house.

Dale is super friendly, helpful in any possible way and a great host.

We had the double room which is pretty spacious - especially the bathroom with shower and tub. The BnB has a rustic charm, is spotless and cosy. A large living room can be used by the guests.

Great hiking trails can easily be reached by car (we did the Hidden Valley trail in Glencoe).

If you fancy a great dinner with an excellent view, try the Hollytree Seafood Restaurant right on the other side of the Loch.

Room Tip: The double room with shower & tub is pretty spacious.

I've travelled the world and never found a warmer welcome or more pleasant hosts. The onsite views are breathtaking and the owner Dale coordinates a lot of walking and outdoor activities locally so it has something for everyone. Dale has appalling jokes but does make an exceptional breakfast to accommodate this. We were cycle touring and Julia and Dale could not do enough for us. If you're cycle touring or want to see the best of Scotland treat yourself and stay at the Highland Croft. Cheers, Jason and Matthew.

Just happened upon this while exploring, needed a place for the night, and there they were. Dale and Julia are so warm and friendly and so knowledgeable about the area. This spot is a hidden gem. Very clean and comfortable with a fabulous breakfast.
