A lovely hotel, welcoming staff , spotlessly clean and comfy room , in quiet location just off a303 . Breakfast very good and although I didn't ask for wheat free they had some in .Dog welcomed by owner . It was a cold foggy day but our room was well heated and plenty of hot water for baths. No restaurant but we walked up road to the village pub for evening meal .

We stayed 2 nights at the Ash House. It's in a very tranquil location and the setting is very picturesque. The hostess made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious, with a huge bathroom. The dining area you can look out the beautiful garden. The breakfast was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for three nights in order to visit family in nearby Yeovil and spend some time touring Somerset and Dorset. Our room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast served in the conservatory was a delight. The hotel stands in it's own grounds in the quiet village of Ash. The location is vey convenient for the A303. Can recommend this delightful hotel.

Just spent three nights here and really enjoyed the great hospitality and relaxing atmosphere in this charming village hotel. Well situated with ample parking and a well-stocked bar (esp. if you're fond of the odd dram or two).

This is a very quiet relaxing hotel. Gordon the owner and Gordon in charge of supplying a wonderful breakfast both helped to make our stay very pleasant. The one sad thing was that we were not able to eat our evening meal in the restaurant because the chef had left and there was no one to cook. We were made to feel very welcome, we shall be back back.

Room Tip: we stayed on the first floor and have no complaints.
