Beautiful old venue, modernized and updated. Bathrooms fully modernized and quite nice; bedroom a bit small (understandable; this had been a boys' school, among other things, for a century or so). Attended for a friends wedding. All staff helpful and obliging from reception onwards. Small negative in that the service at the Brasserie bar was slow, but staff were helpful. The food in the Brasserie was very good and reasonably priced. The room we had was a double deluxe - it's probably the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in, saying that it was impeccably clean, throughout both the room and bathroom and that to me is very important. Well done to housekeeping. The hotel is vast so if you are staying for a wedding or function finding your way around can be challenging. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We arrived at the hotel too early to check in so we decided to have some lunch. We entered the bar to be confronted with lots of vacant high tables but no free ones at normal height. This was only an issue because I use a wheelchair. Barry the bar tender in Bar 1705 was really helpful and took us through to the 1705 restaurant. We ate a delicious pizza, served to our table by Barry, in the wonderful surroundings of Restaurant 1705. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he helped us in a way that did not draw attention to my disability. Outstanding service, thanks Barry.

Great service in the De Vere Windsor 1705 restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the desert recommended by Chef Dave and our waitress Oksana. I can’t eat gluten or dairy, so it was a real treat. Thanks for looking after me. Recommended

Excellent stay at Beaumont Estate. We were upgraded to a room in the White House which was well appointed and comfortable with some lovely touches like a retro style DAB radio and generous hospitality tray. The guest service team even eft us a card and bottle of wine to congratulate us on our wedding anniversary. Bed was very comfortable and the Penhalligan toiletries in the bathroom added an additional touch of luxury. The rainfall shower was amazing and we could not fault the bedroom. Breakfast was also top notch with a vast array of choices including freshly made energising juices which is something I haven't seen at another hotel breakfast. All in all a fantastic stay we will be returning.
