We made a last minute decision to visit the New Forest for one night, and on a bank holiday Sunday we knew we would struggle to find somewhere that was available let alone decent. When we arrived a few hours after booking we couldn't believe our luck. Dave and Linda welcomed us with a cup of tea and biscuits and showed us to a nice sized clean en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities, everything worked fine in the bathroom, and I'm sure the bed was the comfiest I have slept on away from home! Dave was happy to give us a map with directions to the best places in the New Forest to see and top tips for our visit into Lyndhurst. The next morning we were greeted with a selection of breakfasts - full English, cereal, fruit, and tea/coffee/orange juice/apple juice, all of which were really nice and fresh (it felt rude not to try them all!). The B&B is close to the New Forest with pubs/restaurants within walking distance even though it's just off the M27. We consider all of this to be great value and would be happy to stay there again.
