We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The receptionist was efficient on check in but not particularly welcoming and delivered her lines as if reading from a autocue that had been speeded up. The room was on the third floor and was lovely with a beautiful shower room.
We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening. It seemed rather overpriced.
This morning's breakfast was tasty but the strange procedure of arriving and giving your room number and then having to wait whilst they prepare a table for you was a little odd. The hotel had a list of guests so they knew how many places to set... Anyway, breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice on the continental and cooked menus.
Checked out and Jodie on the desk was very pleasant.
Went for a swim in the Imagine Spa. The ladies toilet could have done with a tidy up and I resisted making a sculpture out of all the used toilet roll cardboard tubes on the floor.
All in all, a lovely hotel but some staff could be a little more welcoming.More
