On Trabocco I prefer lunch time, because possible to see the nature around, the sea ... Very beautiful and particular
At the dinner time ...maximum is the sea air and the sound of the waves ... because it's already dark, and it seems just restaurant.
The food at all Trabocci +/- is similar...tasty and there are a much of them.
But some trabocco work only in the summer, or some only for dinner, or some of not in the season open only on the Weekend.
It is necessary to clarify by phone before the visit.
This trabocco is one of the most popular, here
have been famous persons, evidenced by the wall with the photo and working even in the not tourist season.

This just has to be done - the venue is amazing - along what looks a rickety gang plank to a "tree house" in the sea! There are only a dozen or so tables, but it feels like a swanky restaurant. The tables are private, but feel like you are all part of the gang, aiding the ambience.

All around you is the sea... including beneath you via the glass windows down below. We were here on a stormy evening, but our friends said that on calm days you can see the fish swimming beneath you.

We were served a dozen or more courses - fish many different ways, and every fish you could imagine. Lots of shell type fish, but also fillets, stew, and fried. All served "en masse" - i.e. they serve each table at the same time (there is no choice), which works great.

Wine on the table, and extra bottles ordered at request (at as we discovered later, at no extra charge!). Water too.

We ended with amazing dessert tarts/pies - a grape "mince pie" that was amazing... and apricot mini-tarts. So good that I asked to take mine away with me for breakfast, as just could not fit it all in. We were all "fit to burst" but with such wonderful fish. No vegetables or accompaniments, but who needs them?!

This is an amazing experience - make sure you come hungry and looking forward to a spectacle to tell your friends and family...!

Un posto unico al mondo--- cibo squisito, servizio impeccabile e vista unica!!! E come fare parte di un quadro.

A unique and one of a kind place. Excellent food and service surrounded by a dreamy view. It's like being inside a painting.

It is one of the best seafood places I have been to. The kitchen is the size of a shoebox but it produces the best fresh seafood dishes one can imagine. And the cost is unbelievable..low, low low. An absolute must.
