5th day into the 9 days package tour amd have used a few hotels and this is the best by far. The buffet dinner has a wide spread of food, spacious and witg a kids play area in the corner. Onsen has 5 indoor pools and 1 outdoor pool, there's 1 communal pool, din try that. Need to wear swim suit. A games area and karaok in the basement. Very enjoyable stay.

Followed tour group and slept for one night. Arrived at 5pm, just nice for Onsen before dinner.
Room is huge with both tatami style and beds to sleep in....nice view when windows are open.
Dinner is buffet style in the hotel. Huge place with lots to eat!
Onsen is very relaxing and loved the outdoor Onsen! Hot in the water but face is cold with the evening breeze!
After dinner, rested for an hour before heading off to next round of Onsen!
Next morning woke up at 4am, as the Onsen is opened at 3:30am!
Had another soak before heading for breakfast at 7am.
Will definitely return to this lovely location again!

1-minute walk from Shikotsu Toya National Park. There is no wifi here. So just relax, enjoy the surrounding nature, the healthy food, the fresh air and the onsen. The restaurant serves a very wide spread of Japanese dishes. The sushi and sashimi are fresh. The tempura is freshly cooked, and the beef is tender and juicy. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor section. The room is spacious.

Our first night stay at hotel for our 8D7N Hokkaido/Tokyo Tour with VYoung Holidays in Bandar Puteri, Malaysia.
Hotel is far away and remote, no internet connection and zero English but front desk people are nice.
The room is divided into 2 section, 1 section has 2 beds and 1 section has a low table with four no leg chaisr and if you have additional guests, can open the closet and pull the mattress or request Front Desk to send housekeeping to prep it for you.
My first experience for a typical Japanese onsen where everyone stripped down to their birthday suit. Grab the Japanese onsen bathrobe pyjamas from room and put it on and head to the onsen place. Bring a big and small towel(for those like me who is our first time, this small piece of towel will help to calm your fear of feeling naked in public) from the room and leave your clothing in a basket and lock your room kwy in th3 lockers provided. You first clean and shower yourself thoroughly from head to toe before dipping yourself into the hot pools with various temperatures, 36 degree Celsius to 42. After you are done dipping yourself in the pools, clean and shower again before entering the locker room. Once you dried tourself with the big towel you brought from room, sit comfortably at the vanity tables and use the lotions and dryers provided. Great Experience and highly recommend this natural hot spring hotel.
