We had 5 people in our group (3 adults, 2 children). The drive to the wetlands was beautiful. There was fresh fruit, juice, and coffee upon our arrival at 8:30 am. We were the only family in our tour group, so we got the whole boat to ourselves. Our guide and boat driver were very knowledgeable and friendly with keen eyes for spotting wildlife. They pointed out many different birds, crocodiles, bats, and monkeys. We had the most delicious casado for lunch and then proceeded to the cultural tour. We made our own sugar cane juice and tortillas in the old fashion. Our guide answered all of our questions and we learned so much. This was an amazing, unique experience!
