Here, you can find the peaceful place for take a rest. Morning buffet is excellence Japanese style. Room is clean, good smell and big enough. Good quality of all stuff. Onsen quite hot but good for relaxing after tough hiking. Enjoy!.

We stayed here on our last night after completing the Konica Kodo trail. When we arrived we were told our dinner would be in our room and had to be very firm for them to let us have it in the restaurant.

When we got to our room it stank of smoke and we were told we could not change as they had no non smoking rooms which we found amazing for the size of the hotel.

The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent.

The hotel is looking tired and the carpets in the corridors are badly stained.

The staff were very nice especially the waitresses. The hotel specialises in Onsen bathing.

Great views from room but we could not get the smell of smoke out of our system.

We stayed here after the finishing our 4 and half day hike of the Kumano Kodo, ending in Nachi. Access is via a 5 minute ferry and after the quaint ryokan and minshuku we stayed in along the Kumano, this was a step up. The hotel (too big to be a ryokan?) is quite large, some of the public areas are a little tired although new carpet would address most of the issues. The tatami rooms were spacious clean and well appointed with ensuites. The public bathing areas were large and the water very hot = great after a tough hike. Dinner was excellent, one of the best of the trip and breakfast was both Japanese and European. Recommended

This hotel has neither the atmosphere and spirit of a genuine Ryokan nor the professionalism and sparkle of a really modern good quality hotel.
On arrival we found the reception staff UNwelcoming and UNsmiling.
Our room was well appointed ( though the lavatory room was not fresh). The carpets in the corridors were dirty. Much of the hotel need refurbishing.
The bright spot was the in- room dining : the quality of the food was excellent.
The hotel's location on an island is pleasant but hardly stunning.

The room has a good sea view. The dinner is delicious especially after a hot spring bath. It is a good getaway. You can relax for a whole day doing nothing but just bath and eating. It has a short path, about 20 mins, to the hill behind. It has great view from hill top.
