We had a 5 course meal with a wine arrangement. 4/5 courses where real nice, only the first one was a bit mwoah.
The staff deserves 5 stars for being so helpfull and friendly!
It would be smart for them to get a sommellier, the wines where a bit simple and didn’t go as well with the dishes as we had hoped.

The cognac room was reall nice for a little beverage before and after dinner, it had a lovely fireplace and a nice ambiance.

Overall we where satisfied!

Really in the middle of nowhere we found this restaurant; more or less in the shape of a large conservatory that leans to the old farm building; quaint!
Although there was a bit of a wait, we all enjoyed our choices and we will certainly be back another time.

Be sure to look at the brochure telling you about the history of this place. The drive there in itself is already a step back into history, old villages with original Brinks, and old farms, very interesting. The food is always spectacular here, although there is not often an official menu. The meals use local or regional products and produce and we usually take a 4-course menu. Your server will tell you about it, and then if you don't think you'll like it you can go to the regular menu. Good wines, excellent food, unusual surroundings. Service is rather deliberate, but it leaves time for conversation. However, this last time it was very busy, it took to much time for the dishes to come to the table. You can eat inside or outside, the view is so lovely!

Since it was a week of a school holiday, lots of hotels were fully booked. Therefor, I had to find a hotel in the region and found this hotel on the internet. I have booked two nights, but I left after one. For business, this is not the right hotel: very poor or no internet connection, since you are in the middel of nowhere. Also, no mobile connection! The employees of the hotel were nevertheless very helpful by installing a television in my room since there wasn't one (since I could not work, I liked to watch a Champions League soccer match) . Diner and breakfast were good. All and all, I think this a nice hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet with your partner, but not for business!

Since it was going to be a long and cosy winter evening, we choose for the full six course menu. We had been seating in the pleasant conservatory, which is rich and traditionally decorated, just like the other rooms in the hotel and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the plates are beautifully composed and the matching wines were excellent. Only downside have been the small portions, since the menu is a bit posh and high cuisine-like, but the restaurant is entirely worth the recommendation.
