The hostess was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, she spoke great English which saved us the embarrassment of not knowing any German past danke. We arrived after dark without a reservation but was still accommodated for. Dinner and breakfast were really tasty and just what we needed, beer and coffee were spot on too.
They have a gorgeous, well trained dog that lives in, he didn't disturb us or even get in our way, moving out the way without prompt when guests would pass him.
The room was cute, comfortable and warm, the shared toilet and shower were no problem and there's a sink with wash cloths, towels and a vanity mirror in the room. The bed was my favourite part, unbelievably comfortable, I had a fantastic nights sleep.
It was the most expensive place we stayed in during our trip even though we stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels but taking into consideration we had no reservation, no online deals, Switzerland is generally more expensive and we were there in season, I think it's a fair price.
The village it's self is gorgeous and definitely worth seeing for yourself.More
