"Le Bugatti" is a Belgian restaurant in Ixelles, in a calm street not so far frm Flagey Square (less than 1km).
The decor is inspired from the beginning of the XXth century - very Art Nouveau.
The menu proposes a broad choice of Belgian courses: Snails from Namur, croquets, tartare steak, black pudding from Brussels, stoemp...
Everything was excellent, very tasty but big. There is also a very broad choice of Belgian beers.
The staff was very friendly and efficient. There was a nice atmosphere there.

The Art Déco atmosphere is what attracted me the most when I find this restaurant. The wooden bar, the wide and colourful decorated glass wall, the red leather and wooden chairs, and the many paintings and prints on the walls give a wonderful retró atmosphere. Perhaps the owner pushed it too far sometimes, for example by covering every inch of wall around the main door with small 20s' style pictures. But in general the atmosphere is very original. I would suggest him to air 20s' music only, it would give a plus to the general atmosphere.
The food was exquisite, especially the carbonnade, and even if the price is slightly above other Belgian cuisine restaurants in town, I was happy to pay. A starter, two main courses with two side dishes , two beers, and a bottle of water for 50 euros.
The waitress was also very kind and even if we were the last in the restaurant, she did not show any sign of impatience.
Warmly suggested!

This place is amazing. Belgian food executed excellently - the rabbit, croquettes and carbonnades are all delicious. Great selection of wine and beers too. The interior is cosy and unique. I've been several times and service has been good every time (sometimes a little slow but always professional). Would recommend booking though as it's quite small and often closes during the summer.

We have been there with a group of friends at the end of November. The restaurant is very nice and well decorated. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. They also have a nice selection of beer to taste with a plate of typical Belgian cuisine. I had the lapin à la kriek which is sort of a stew of rabbit meat and a sauce made with kriek beer. The food was good and especially the meet was extremely juice but the sauce was too sweet to the point that it became heavy. Plus they probably use some cream to thicken the sauce that makes it a bit heavy to digest.
