In Brussels there where not very many places where you could enjoy vegan food on a Saturday evening. During our search we stumbled upon this cozy place, and we were blown away by their amazing potatoes wedges with a delicious mustard sauce, the outrageous chili and one of the best hummuses we ever tried (and we've tried many!). Top dishes, awesome and friendly service, to find places with surprises like this is the best! Visit!

I didn't know one could do so much with a baked potato! Dessert was great as well. Fantastic staff and overall cute spot!

Super friendly staff, even the most simple sounding potato filling is a delicacy. Plenty of vegetarian and also a vegan option.

We came here because of the stellar reviews, bit felt a little let down. We took the suggested soup of the day, Indian lentil soup, along with Moroccan "meatballs" and the suggested potato with falafel and ratatouille. Accompanied by a carafe of rose we dropped about 50 EUR. Not cheap, as the single $ sign suggested. More like mid-range $$-$$$. Anyways, the soup was a bit bland for our taste, more like tomato soup with a little lentils. We were offered fresh coriander or mint in the soup, which was necessary. The potatoes were fine, but the fillings were rather spicy for out taste. Lot of food, that was a plus. Still, I don't think it's worth the five points everyone's throwing at this place.

Bintjes, as flemish call them, are jacket potatoes served according to your taste. There's a great choice of vegetarian combinations (not sure if also vegan), tuna, salmon and many with meat, turkey or chicken or beef. The place is cozy and very familiar. They don't accept reservations, and it can get very busy. Plus, the owner is extremely friendly!
