This is a rather old fashioned hotel close to a nice, but overcrowded beach, shared with loads of people from the adjacent camp site. Rather low value for money. No good restaurants close.
Friendly staff that tries to do its best to compensate for the lack of quality of the place.
Nice places nearby: Llanes, a must.

Visiting our area in August is not the same as in other times of the year, more expensive prices and more influx of tourists. We do not share the opinion that there are no good restaurants nearby.

My wife and I stayed here with our son, daughter in law and 18 month old grandson for 4 nights. Our room was comfortable, the en-suite particularly well furnished and roomy and the location so close to the beach excellent although be aware there are not any sea views. The staff were charming. Breakfasts were served courteously but lunch and evening meals are not available. However there are so many establishments nearby this is not a problem. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Small size rooms, but very clean. Main problem being the non soundproofing walls. We can hardly hear evrything coming from neighbour rooms and corridor. The absence of air conditioning, nevertheless mentioned on their site, has other consequence. When you open the window, you can "enjoy" all benefits of Spanish night life, thanks to the close café open till late in the night !
So noise again.

After a couple of nights in much cheaper hotels on the Spanish Coast our family of 5 spent one night at Hotel Miracielos as a treat - and we loved it!

We really thought the place was very special. It reminded us of our grandmother's house - with old fashioned furniture. It had dignified charm, loved but faded.

I had previously read some of the negative reviews about the hotel on Trip Advisor and so was a rather nervous that my husband would complain. But he loved it and kept quoting the Trip Advisor comments and laughing.

Hotel Miracielos is positioned in an absolutely stunning location and the fact that it isn't boutiqued up means that you can just relax and enjoy the pleasure of having such beautiful views. The hotel was unique rather than the many modern boutique refurbs that are done to a formula.

Our kids voted to eat supper at the hotel rather than go out into Llanes. We had a 4 course meal which was interestingly priced as the more people in your groups who ate the less it cost! We had a lovely bottle of Cava at a reasonable price.

The buffet breakfast was amazing - my 18 year old boy who never stops eating - commented that it was the best buffet breakfast he'd ever had! And he knows how to work a buffet!

I think the people who comment on the faults of the hotel are missing the point of the hotel. I hope that we will return and stay longer next time.

Far too expansive! Our room was simple, small but clean. At night it was quite noisy until very late at night. Location near the ocean is very nice though!
TIP: Visit village Llanes! Nice little harbor and much more atmosphere! Maybe better to look for a hotel here!

Thanks for your comments
we believe that the price of our rooms and the value is correct and also tell us so most customers; During his overnight stay had been agreed that the parties in the next village, Celorio, we feel that the night was not silent enough, happens once a year and we can not do anything about it.
We are in Barro, a quiet village that has nothing to do with the town of Llanes, much more busy in the summer months; depends on the tastes of customers, but if you wanted best room they had stayed in one of the many hotels that exist in Llanes, Barro is quieter.
