There are a few numbers of resorts has air-condition. that really need because I have an eczema allergy to my body humid and dusty. So air condition and clean place.
I spend time to find the place with air-con and a reasonable price.
First, impress to staffs everyone are friendly and helpful. Luckily that we found the owner, who has a great service mind. Cozy beach, comfortable bed, TV, refrigerator, hairdryer, warm water available. The resort is not far from the main road or the village. The resort also provides transportation to/from the pier at Koh Jum. I have been surveyed along Koh Jum and Koh Pu that found some resorts are located far from the beach and village, so this one is the best. Overall, I really love this place, will find the time to visit again. Highly suggested.

We stayed further down the beach and wanted to try a different restaurant so we went for Delight Beach because it looked cosy. From the beginning the two waiters seemed annoyed with our presence. We’re a normal family with two small children and we always go early to restaurants as we know that’s when most families with young kids eat and we will usually clear out before other customers arrive. However, it felt like we weren’t welcome though it was around 6pm.

Our son found a pack of pencils on an empty table and we thought they belonged to the restaurant so he started drawing with them. Quickly the waiters were there telling us off because the pencils belonged to a guest who had only forgotten them there. The waiter stood at our table and demanded the pencils with no patience for just letting a five year old pack them away and return them. Seriously, what was the harm in him just finishing his picture and then return them. They’re only pencils and the boy who left them wasn’t even there.
During the meal we spilt two drinks (yes it happens with kids) but we were apologetic and we paid ourselves for new ones. The waiters were so angry with us and by the end of the meal we just wanted to run away from there so we decided to just buy ice creams from the freezer and take with us for dessert. Again the angry waiters shouted at us for leaving the freezer open while we were picking our ice creams out.

It didn’t help on the whole experience that the place is crazy expensive compared to the other places along the beach for no reason at all. The food was mediocre and the shakes a bit slushy. 100 bath for an apple juice!!!! It was just plain apple juice out of a box. We paid less than half the price at Freedom Resort where we stayed and it was served with a smile.

We can’t recommend this place they need to lower their prices and up their service and attitude to customers - also the ones with kids.

We booked this place mainly because of the good reviews it received, but can’t say we agree with any of these. We paid 2500baht for a small, rather basic A/C room. Yes, the room was clean and the staff is friendly, but this really does not justify the prices they charge here.

We only ate in the restaurant once, because after the first (vegetarian) curry we ordered here we both got sick. Like everything else, the food is expensive for the quality you get. We would advice to walk 500m to a nearby restaurant called Driftwood, which is a lot nicer and cheaper. Breakfast was okish, not many healthy options or variation for vegetarian.

They don’t supply refill water to fill up your own water bottle, but instead they sell plastic 500ml bottles for 30bath each. Not very sustainable and the first time we came across this in Thailand. Also make sure to rent a scooter in the village (15min walk), which is only 200baht instead of the 300 they charge here.

The beach is ok and they provide enough chairs and toys for kids which is really nice, but we were just really put off by their prices and therefore would recommend to stay somewhere else instead.
