We stayed in the bungalows on the beach, there is three of them they are lovely and traditional but could do with a few little updates... We couldn't lock our room when we were in at night, the safe wasn't attached to the wall and there was no fridge.... Also the make up wardrobe was broken so unable to use (no coat hangers) none of these things spoilt or stay but put right would of made the stay more enjoyable

Very friendly staff, nice accommodation/location. I booked for 2 nights and had a smile on my face for 3 days. That never happened in my life. Lot of quests I spoke there where visiting for the second time, some come even every year. I was dropped of at the wrong side of the island, the staff picked me up and I asked if they get anything for the transfer. There answer was: ‘No we take care of you’. And that was more than tru for the next days.
I loved it and enjoyed a lot, this location is very comfortable and service is excellent, food quality is great, amazing beach side, room r feel like home, golden pearl resort is friendly place for friends.
Koh Jum is a nice little island if you're looking to do not much other than relaxing. Golden Pearl is right on a really nice beach. It's a bit rocky in areas, but not too much so and the sunset are unreal. Our bungalow was fairly spacious and you can walk from the balcony to the sea in about 5 seonds, thats how much you are on the beach. The bathroom is open top- this is really nice in some ways, but also means you get quite a few bugs and leaves in there. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant is a bit pricey, but pretty good. The FU bar is great (the barman's laugh will crack you up everytime). Overall, if you're looking for somewhere to just relax and enjoy beautiful, empty beach this is the place to stay.
Beautiful simple resort on peaceful ko jum. Giving 5 stars as we loved every second here. So much so we came back from ko lanta early and spent 4 more nights here. The location is perfect. Get a beach front bungalow. Bedcis comfortable ac works and cute outside bathroom. Wake up to perfect sea view. Our son played on sand as i reated on hammock. Totally safe and family friendly. Resort is on the main road so a little traffic noise but its charming as its only the odd scooter. Being so close to road is handy for accessing local restaurants. Quick stroll to a few great local restaurants very authentic and cheap food try bam bams amd Rosa's. Food at golden pearl is only ok. Cute bar fubar is lovely. Easy to get around by tuk tuk. Really quiet authentic Thailand island experience
Dropped off at Pier mid morning and 10 minute 100 baht trip up the main road to Golden Pearl
Hotel is on the beach but with main Road only a few metres to the rear so some noise inevitable
We had booked one of the 3 Beachfront Bungalows but sadly not the best.Swarm of insects had nested on veranda which took a lot of effort and several hours to get resolved.
This is the central bungalow which has a massage hut right in front of it. It is number V2 so my advice is try V1(but close to restaurant) or V 3. There is more accommodation the other side of the road.
Room was ok Spacious but v basic not much storage or shelves but room enough to live out of your case. Huge bed - Thai firm! Aircon with mind of it's own.

Beach is pretty clean but sea is rocky..dont go plunging in until you have seen low tide.
Hotel restaurant has great food at decent prices but sometimes you have to be a bit proactive to get served. We stuck to Thai and never disappointed.
RentedThai Taxi (moped with sidecar) for 600 baht Fun day but challenging to get to north of island as road became track.
Overall a great place to visit and to be fair the Beach Bungalows are good value There is a building site next door that was occasionally noisy but a couple of cocktails at the Rock Bar (great for sunset, happy hour 5-7) and all is well. Turn right along beach 5 min walk.
