Amazing

First visit to this beautiful resort as a family of four and we loved every minute of our stay there. Our villa was beautiful and so spacious and our boys especially loved the private pool. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every day and were always greeted with a smile by Oui and Jar. The tree pod dining experience is not to be missed! We also dined in the restaurants and on North beach and really enjoyed the range of dishes on the menus and service delivered by Floren and the team.
The huge variety of delicious ice creams on offer as well as the amazing chocolate room was a big hit!
Our 2 boys especially enjoyed their Thai boxing lesson, sea fishing , visit to the den and snorkelling with Lewis and his team and we all had an amazing evening on the sunset cruise. I also enjoyed a lovely massage and pedicure in the Sixth sense spa by Penny.
Lisa was our girl Friday and organised all our activities and dining with a smile. A big thank you to Francesca and her lovely team for making our stay at Soneva Kiri so special and memorable.

Greetings from Soneva Kiri. Thank you for your lovely description of your family stay with us, one can almost feel the fun you had jumping out of the words, the team was smiling when I read it, remembering also. We just increased the number of fun stuff to do on the North beach and will add more in the coming months.

On ice creams, we just added a crazy flavour...Chef David yesterday was challenged by a guest to do a chicken and waffle flavor ice cream and incredible as it may sound it actually tasted fantastic. Only telling you this so you can come up with a challenge for David when you come back.

Unbelievable!!

I don’t write many reviews, but this resort needs to be visited by all the barefoot luxury lovers.. the resort, the north beach, the staff, the kids club, the food... all 5 stars!! The villa itself was just haven.. don’t get me started on the amazing exterior bathroom.. Our Friday (for those familiar with Robinson Crusoe) was just extraordinary, anticipating all the needs of a Mother on the island with a 2 and my 5yo very active troublemaker boys! A big big public thank you to Marisa and to the GM of the hotel Francisca who took care of us in the most delightful way!

Greetings from Soneva Kiri. Thank you for your beautiful description of your stay with us. It was a pleasure to meet you and your boys. We try to get you as close to nature as possible but still have our very own barefoot luxury.

Our North beach is getting better soon, we will add areas for the kids to play and exercise, away from the quiet areas, the beauty of having such a humongous beach.

We hope to see you back soon so your sons can play with the water pots along the pathway ( I will give them a special coconut spoon for them to throw water at each other!).

Nature Lover Paradise but Service needs more work!

I went there with a couple of friends for around girls getaway. We spent 2 nights there over the weekend. The bay view villa is spacious and the living room area of the resort is well designed. Overall we had a good time however with the price that we pay we were hoping for a better service. we were hoping for a wow experience but ended up feeling that we had to keep on training the staff to provide the level of service we were hoping for. We have been traveling around the globe and stayed at luxury properties but we agreed that the service at Soneva Kiri was about 4 stars. We dined at So Chilled and the View, the food quality was great but the price could be more reasonable considering the property is in Thailand (not Scandinavia). Breakfast buffet quality is below average for Thai Hotels standard. Unfortunately, we don't think we will be coming back to this hotel.

True luxurious vacation of a lifetime!

I stayed here for 2 nights with friends in a 6-bedroom villa on the cliff overlooking the beautiful sea. As the villa faces the West side, so we enjoyed amazing sunset. Facilities in the villa are incredible, it provides everything we need like a slider, swimming pool, pool table and even the spa beds for in-room spa. Food and service are fantastic. North beach is very beautiful private beach everyone shouldn’t miss. It was a true luxurious vacation of a lifetime!

Dear Orangitie

Greetings from Soneva Kiri. Thank you for your comments, it was important to us to design a villa that could be almost like a small little hotel so our guest can decide never to leave it during their stay or come out to enjoy the rest of the resort. It's the perfect destressing tool, isolated but in close proximity to a whole new experience in the resort when you feel like it.

We are now in full preparations for the Chinese New Year and Easter, combining it with our Festival of Colours so expect a very pink CNY!
