expense to eat here & noise level can be quite high with children out off control but gardens look lovely entrance fee though for a family is steep unless one is a member of the RHS

Our first visit to these gardens, we weren't disappointed and are now RHS members. Well tended, a variety of spaces with woodland walk, vegetable garden, water features, interesting features. Good coffee/tea rooms at the entrance and in the gardens. Would certainly return during another season.

the Rosemoor Garden is one of the Royal Horticultural Society gardens and it is fantastic. I came in late June and the roses were magnificent, but beyond them were the various other gardens (shade garden, rock garden, arboretum and lots of paths throughout an enormous estate. (I put on over 10,000 steps, so you can take some wonderful walks.) There are a handful of areas for children, but I did not see many children there, even though there were many visitors. I spent three hours, but probably could have spent another hour there. The plants, bushes and trees are well marked so you can think about adding them to your horticultural dreams. They are zone 6, however, so I'm guessing many of the trees and bushes I loved might not grow in Vermont (zone 4). Either way, the garden is inspirational for anyone who loves to garden.
