We arrived at Meraki homestay after travelling from Amritsar....What a pleasent surprise...the property is exactly as described what made it even better was meeting Tanya....she immediately made our party of 4 welcome..the rooms are lovely as is the lounge come breakfast area...My wife hit it off with Tanya immediately as they both have a love of gardening. We had our evening meals with Tanya and family and their warmth and good conversation made the experience all the better...if there was one detail to point out which was not a problem for us but might be a problem for some North American or European travellers is that the shower is not your normal stand in cubicle but a hand held.....plenty of hot water and as I said not a problem....If there was a star rating for Homestay properties I would put this at the top..
We had the pleasure of spending 3 days away from the hot summer in India. Tanya made sure that we always had great food ( don't forget to ask her to cook her Palak Chicken). The house is well away from all the hustle bustle of a busy hill station. My best part was sipping ginger tea and looking out at the Dhauladhuar range, watching the rains come..
Highly recommend it if you want to immerse into the cool, pure clean air up in the mountains and want to get good rest and rejuvenate.
