It's less than one minute walk away from Kawaguchiko train station, and we could see Mount Fuji from our room. Combine this with an affordable price tag, and it's hard to complain too much.
That said, the staff here are by far the most apathetic we've seen through our trip in Japan, totally lacking in friendliness or courtesy. Facilities are spartan. Soundproofing is very poor so any noise outside in the street will be clearly visible in the room, but luckily the street quietens down after sunset.
It's a convenient base if you plan to spend most time outside and transit through Kawaguchiko station frequently, but it's not an accommodation you'll want to relax in outside bedtime.More
