If you're after relaxation, clean air, a really (really) good night's sleep and plenty of opportunities for rambling in the countryside (some of it on the steep side, i.e. alpine, but then you're in the Alps...), then this is the place for you. Especially if you like small hotels in a natural setting. The hosts are charming and the breakfast excellent, though they don't do dinner - but there are three places in the village a ten-minute walk away. But having said all of that and lavished all that praise, the best thing was the sauna, because while it's on the small side, we had all to ourselves! A word of warning: we had to ask the owner to turn it on specially, presumably because he only turns it on when he's sure guests are going to use it, and the Turkish bath was out of order (I assume momentarily). All in all, a lovely place to stay. We were there in summer, but I should imagine it's also good for skiers in season.
