Nice property that is continually being enhanced, both inside the rooms and out. Full kitchen that allows guests to prepare all meals during the day. There is limited parking, so I would suggest to reserve parking ahead of time (roughly 25EUR), and avoid a parking ticket (the police liked this easy money and with large tour buses coming up and down the street, it's obvious that you should not park on the street.) The road closure between Taurito and PDM made it much quieter around Taurito without the motorcycles blowing through the village, and the extra bit of driving added around 15 minutes to PDM depending on how fats you drive.

All in all, this is a wonderful property for those looking to "escape". I would like to thank Ignacio and Christobal for their wonderful hospitality before, and throughout our stay. As a young traveler (29) it is always amazing to feel respected and cared about - and thats exactly the feeling that I was given by these two wonderful gentlemen. Thank you both, and to all of your other staff that make it very easy to smile.

Excited to be back again.

Matthew Schneider

The apartment room with 2 bedrooms are big, really beautiful and have and amazing view over the beach and mountains. 2 floors, with a doublebed on the second floor and balcony, first floor 2 single beds and bathrooms on boths floors. Nice and big kitchen, sofa area and a huge terrace. I really recommend this place because of the view and the price. Only problem could be parking, but if you waite a while there is allways a car leaving in the morning or night in front of the hotel (free parking), if not there is a huge parking spot in the bottom of the hill (for free) but you have to walk 10 minutes up the hill back to the hotel. The staff is so nice and there is not any sound or trafic outside the hotel, the pool area is ok. The water could be a bit warmer, but is not a problem if its sunny weather. Restaurant staff is doing all they can to provide you with your orders to eat and drink. We had room 3016, this had new furniture and was really a 5* apartment.

Room tip: Ask for a new furniture styled room, there are some with older colors, furniture, those are not so nice as the new ones.

The staff specialy in the reception are not nice and cooperating ones, totally unfriendly, unhelpful and not caring at all. On the other hand the hotel does not even have primary requirement:

1- There is not even a small locker room, just like every other hotels in the world! Just an open access terrace which they stressed "at your own responsibility, not us". Thank you!
2- Check in time 1600, and check out at 1000! Thank you again! What should/could quests do if they arrive early or have a late return flight?
3- I don´t complain about the poor location, hard access to the beach (without car) or even not that the pool sunbeds are rather dirty. These could be in a way and to some extent expected. But bad coffee quality? That is easy... why?
4 - But to be fare: the rooms seems pleasent, with all necessary items included, including safebox. This for us was the only high point, and should be appreciated. (Important points: poor WIFI in terrace; constant very very bad smell inside, specially in the bathroom; not that much clean rooms; also do not be fooled by nice pictures in the website, the furniture and equipment are all old and rather dirty, and it should be noted there is no sun before ca. 1230)

I could have written much more about this experience, the point is just with few changes they could totally alter the quest satisfaction. More importantly they should change the "attitude", "service level" and "very bad smell in the bathroom".

Room tip: The bathroom should not have "bad smell" + Far from pool and reception (noise/privacy) + Wired point: Check in/out is 4 PM/10 AM

Stayed here with friends in November 2019, through their parents' timeshare. We had a very nice duplex apartment with two bathrooms and two bedrooms, with a shared kitchenette. The hotel is up a reasonably steep road, above the beach and centre of Taurito. It's probably not ideal if you have any sort of mobility problems, as there are a lot of stairs in the hotel, being as it's built in the side of a cliff, which many hotels in Gran Canaria are. Having said that, the hotel had a shuttle bus to run up and down at various times, and cabs aren't expensive (plus we also had a hire car).

The hotel has all the amenities you'd expect, a nice (I think heated) pool, gym, sauna, small bar/restaurant. The entertainment lady, Olga, was a stalwart, keeping everyone amused all day, and the kids there seemed to just love being in the pool. The bar had happy hour from 16.30 to 17.30 each day, and wasn't expensive.

The hotel staff were amazing and Christobal gave us many great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants.

Lots of Brits in the hotel getting a bit of winter sun, and also, lots of Scandanavians, but all very nice people. The hotel has a really friendly atmosphere, and definitely recommend it. Perhaps the only down side, and this is nothing to do with the hotel, is the fact that the road to Puerto Mogan, where there are loads of nice restaurants, is closed by a land slide (as of Nov 2019). This means that any trip by hotel bus, or public bus, has to go the long way round and a 5 minute trip takes 20 minutes. No big deal really, but something to bear in mind.

Room tip: Choose a room near reception if you want to minimise steps
