Wonderful place

My boyfriend brought me here as a surprised. I had been very stressed. The bed and breakfast was beautiful. The owner and her dog are the sweetest. My boyfriend hired someone to give me a massage beside the pool. It was wonderful. The views were amazing. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylish. Our breakfast was amazing! It was a rejuvenating, peaceful, and relaxing experience. I will go back, for sure.

Great start to the holiday

This charming b&b is not far from the airport but in nature, near the top of a hill overlooking the valley. The view from the pool is fantastic. Also the owner is super-friendly. A great introduction to Costa Rica.

We highly recommend Vista Atenas B&B for your next stay!!!

We stayed here for a several times now and always had a great experience. Stunning views of the valley, fresh cool breeze, helpful, honest and welcoming staff, delicious breakfasts, tranquility and wonderful owner Vera, who is always trying that your stay will be comfortable and unforgettable. We will return soon!!!

Excellent

We started and finished our family trip through Costa Rica at Vista Athenas. We liked it a lot. A beautiful location, fantastisch view, beautiful garden with kolibries and butterflies, nice and clean rooms, very nice owner and staff, we enjoyed the swimming pool and the wonderful breakfast to start the day with fresh fruits!

Amazing view of Poas, Barva and Valle Central

We stayed here 1 night en route from the coast to San Jose and wish it could have been more, and will certainly return. The peaceful quiet of this hillside B&B only 30 minutes from SJO airport is a welcome respite from the urban centers of the Vallle Central. Wonderful staff, very comfortable room, beautiful gardens and view, and just outside the clean and friendly small city of Atenas. We recommend con gusto!

Room tip: The best views are from the pool and patio, and all rooms are adjacent to the pool and patio.
