We went there to sample promising local cuisine and left with that promise unfulfilled.
No barman for cocktails and so done if the more interesting options such as the jalapeño were off the menu. On the subject t of the menu, the mains were limited but that was nothing compared to the sides which amounted to salad or....salad!
Whilst the sword fish was pleasant the squid in red wine reduction (and salad) was a test in eating endurance. That coupled with lacklustre service made for an experience that did not match the reviews we had read and all for far too pretty a penny.

We had such a lovely time! The atmosphere is great: we were sitting drinking watching the sunset, enjoying endless courses of fresh fish and drinking some good artisan beer. The music in the background is quite cool - a selection of super cool indy bands. The service was attentive (there were constantly waters coming around) and we also had along chat with the owner who is a super cool guy who knows about quality! The fish was just great. We had some raw fish followed by fried, steamed and grilled fish. The drinks were great. Prices are honest. If you can try also the locally made amaro - it was incredible. If you pass this area visit this place, you will have a good time. Plenty of choice, fresh and with a good service!

i'm back in this place after four years and it's still the best in town. laying on the best spot of the coast but with a remarkable improvement in the ambience and the staff. unforgettable tagliolini with fresh tuna sauce hot dished straight from the cup, i can still feel that perfectly done whole cherry tomatoes squeezing in my mouth and melting with the fish. unmissable the selection of raw fish served with different kind of seaweed, olive oil and salt, and the huge selection of homemade beers and wines. given that top notch service, food and beverages, billing is aligned but on the bottom of range, it descends a good deal.

Soul food has unfortunately scored below my expectation, the restaurant may be good for sea food, yet I wasn't extremely satisfied with the plates and atmosphere. Smoking is not allowed although you are sitting outdoor and price-performance ratio is slightly above average.
