“Fabulous, fabulous, FABULOUS!”
Reviewed 13 February 2012

Vivian - you are a gem! My husband and I visited Cafe 69 on our last night in Thailand at the beginning of February and our only disappointment with our experience was that we didn't discover it sooner. After reading several other reviews, we see that the gracious host welcomes all guests the same way - with a huge smile, exquisite service and charismatic flare! The food is outstanding. Vivian creates many dishes, so the blend of flavors is unique and scrumptious. I agree with the previous comments regarding the drinks. Yuummmm. When we visit Thailand again, we will head straight to Cafe 69! Vivian - prepare yourself, as word spreads I have a sneaking suspicion you are going to get increasingly busy!

“If you dont eat anywhere else eat here!”
Reviewed 12 February 2012

Dont be put off by the fact this resturant looks like a cafe, the food and service are fantastic. Best meal we had in Thailand! Viviene the owner is really helpful and knowledgeable. Will cook your chosen dish to suit your personal taste and recommend things that you might otherwise not try, let him advise you! We had king prawns, on wine leaves with a strawberry sauce, I would never have chosen that but they were fantastic.

“Außergewöhnlich!”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

We're with Vivien's place tonight and enjoyed it so much. HE welcomes you, remembers your names and introduces the place to you.
Individual and small menu but incredible selections offering typical Thai and fusion food. Great taste!!! Aswell the drinks are delicious and worth trying, fresh, tasty, not too sweet and huge.
Everybody should get here and enjoy the pretty atmosphere!
The spot could be at a better place since it's located at the main road paralleling Fishermans Village road Moo1.

“A wonderfully warm & friendly evening with great food.”
Reviewed 7 February 2012

We went here tonight because of the previous reviews & the close proximity to our accommodation. We had a truly wonderful evening with beautiful food, a gorgeous host & very friendly atmosphere. Vivian (the host) took the time to tell us about his cafe, his cooking & was warm, inviting & personable enough to want to know your name. The meals were cheap & good sized portions. Vivian sure can make a great cocktail too. Loved the My Bloody Valentine. Will be going back before we go home to Brisbane.
