Although there were three generations all working together to provide a fantastic experience, the guy on the desk was a real life saver. On a long distance walk on the GEA in October we were struggling to find anywhere to stay the next night. The grandson (I think he was the manager)sorted out all the options and then spent a good 45 minutes ringing round to find one which was open (I don't speak Italian so an essential service). As well as being a star on the phone he turned up later in the evening to serve up a wonderful dinner and then shot across the road first thing in the morning to secure the essential panini for lunch next day. Nice clean hotel and great value.More
