We have just arrived back from our third consecutive visit to the Lone Star. This time, we took the Lincoln Suite in the Beach House with friends. The standard of accommodation is extremely high, with stunning decor and enough living space to give the feel of a beachfront villa. My only negative comment is that the second bedroom needs more attention to detail to bring it in line with the remainder of the suite. There is an enormous TV which is quite out of keeping and the area it takes up could feature a full length mirror and extra storage. The furniture would look better painted white, too, and would help to give the illusion of more space!

We were again enchanted by the wonderful staff who are obviously loyal enough to be there year on year. Kristen was on top form once again...what a stellar member of staff he is! All our favourites - Dondra, Gary, Julietta and many more - gave us a lovely welcome and looked after us beautifully.

I am already missing my gorgeous breakfasts by the ocean...we will be back!

Room Tip: Buick is probably the best location but Lincoln allows independence and room to spread out and enjoy...

Lovely restaurant very loud buzzy and busy ! Beautifully decorated looks really fresh not to sure about the guys uniforms though ( like a petrol pump attendant!) . The only thing I really disliked was being so close to the next table being only 2 of us crammed in . I could hear their conversations and I am sure they could hear ours and as i mentioned it was loud in there. Food was excellent.

We just returned from our second stay at the Lone Star and it was just as perfect as we remembered. It setting is idyllic and the service is some of the best I've gotten on a Caribbean Island. The hotel restaurant is large but there are very few rooms so there is always someone to help you right away with everything you need and everyone working there is extremely friendly and happy. The food is excellent and there isn't a table in the restaurant with a bad view. We booked again on the spot for next year already. It is a magical, beautiful and special spot.

Always loved the Lonestar but over the last few years it had failed to live up to its reputation as one of the best restaurants on the West Coast. As much as we all loved the place we became frustrated at the problems in recent visits. But tonight was just perfect....faultless!
Ambiance was fantastic in both bar and restaurant and the service was outstanding. All three of us had gorgeous food- hot/tasty and beautifully presented.
Roy has got the place running like clockwork and our "old favourite" restaurant is back to its best!!!

We were saying on the sandy lane estate but decided to take a trip out for breakfast one morning and stumbled on the Loan Star

The restaurant is right on the beach and we were shown to a table on the terrace that is literally on the beach and yards from the ocean

Unfortunately we were bothered by a few flies but a quick word with our waiter got us moved into the main restaurant area which was thankfully clear of them

The choice of breakfast, service and the location were all fantastic - we will be back again
