We wanted to write this review although we stayed at Aird House, which is the second and larger rental cottage owned by Alison & Malcolm Campbell, the hard working couple who occupy the farm.
These two properties are located at the end of Craignish Peninsula reached by a single track road along the edge of Loch Craignish from the village of Ardfern. Aird House is a 4 bedroomed family house with windows set overlooking the beautiful Jura, Scarba and the Straits of Correyvreckan. Despite the weather being really changeable it did not stop us enjoying the house and location, and we were able to drive and walk around to see the most spectacular views and wildlife this area provides. We enjoyed a boat trip from Ardfern out to Correyvreckan and Jura, as well as thrilling drives to Machrihanish on the Kintyre Peninsula and up to Oban.
This is an ideal house for a family holiday and the Steading Cottage is for couple, and Alison and Malcolm are close by to offer any help or advice needed.
