Well.. mixed feelings about this place.

Positive:
1. Good location! A lot of restaurants near by, options to eat and buy food. You can walk to the night market after dinner, 30m.
2. Good bedroom, Big and comfortable bed! A good shower too! A lot of room for two people.
3. A lot of taxis in the hotel door.

Negative:
1. If you want a good breakfast this is not the place to stay. Only fried food. Everything with oil.
They never clean the frying pan for the scrambled eggs, all morning with same pan lol (disgusting)
No heathy food. Forget that.
Two types of bread and fruit.
- 30min before the breakfast close they start to clean, turn out the lights, chairs on the tables.. like, what? Just rude! If you want to close early just say in the day before or change the closing time.

2. Cleaning& maintenance. Oh god.
First day, the sheets had blood on it.
The breakfast chairs always dirty..
All the pool umbrellas had holes, big big holes!
Uncut grass..
Always big dustbins and things customers should not see in the middle of the hotel and beach.

3. Staff.
On the last day, we went to the reception to do the checkout. They said: “we can’t find the tea spoon! You can’t leave!.” Ok, we wait until you find it.. I sat down in the reception.
An hour and fifteen minutes later I went again to counter asking for information and they only said “ you can go! bye!” and they looked away.

Until this day I don’t know what happened to the spoon but I know I didn’t received an apology or good treatment.

The hotel is pretty, the sunset is breathtaking and the pool is nice.. but the management is terrible. The staff is not well trained. They gossip in their language and laugh in costumers face.

Not what I expected.

Nice hotel in the Dung Duong town. close to many shops and restaurants and the Phu Quoc Night Market Nice swimming pool and gardens. The beach is not private but good place to relax and enjoy the sea. Some rates include breakfast but make sure you go early or you might nor find any fruits or other items left after 9:30 although breakfast is supposed to be open until 10:00 am.

Room Tip: Book rates with BBK included

Felt we were punished for booking a room only rate instead of one which included airport transfer (90k each way by taxi) and breakfast. Resort clearly not busy but stuck to building next to lobby where all the road noises can be heard all night, room is only okay and has mold stain under a/c vent. While their own small section of the beach is kept clean, the water and rest of the ocean is littered with garbage, doesn't help when all beach properties seems to have sewer lines into the water over the beach

Give this hotel a pass, better idea is give phu quoc a pass. Like it's beach, the road into town is just as filthy

Stayed at this resort for 4 nights early May. We arrived in the dark and I was very impressed with the reception and rooms.
Come daylight and my enthusiasm for staying at this resort had certainly changed.
Let’s start with the positives:
The rooms and buildings are very impressive.
The pool is large with pool bar.
The most beautiful sunsets anywhere
Negatives:
The pool and pool bar close at 6.25pm. If you have been out on a tour for the day best get back early as you won’t be able to cool off.
The grass and gardens look like they have not been attended to for weeks.
Rubbish sitting in the gardens that was there when we arrived and still there when we departed.
I can’t say the staff are rude, they are all quite young and obviously have not had any customer service training as they struggle to interact.
The restaurant closes at 6pm????
In the information booklet they state they have 24 hour room service. My sister who has a slight mobility issue was not feeling like going out to dinner. Called the restaurant for room service only to be told they had no room service!!! What!! It’s in your book. No new rule since start of May. After arguing with the restaurant manager we eventually got a meal delivered to the room. Dishes sat outside the room. Still there when we checked out 2 days later.
Bins around reception area not emptied daily.
Breakfast close time 10 am but if you arrived anytime from 9 am nothing was ever replenished.
Umbrellas around the pool area are in bad condition... rips in most.
Lights around the pool bar mostly broken and weathered.
Towels and bath mats need replacing as all fraying.
Toiletries not replenished daily.
Last but certainly the most important. They were refusing to give our passports back as we would not pay our bill before we had even entered a room. We explained that we would pay at checkout as we may have other costs such as mini bar, drinks at pool bar etc to add and only wanted one transaction. We had to threaten them with the illegality of refusing to return passports to have them returned.

One hour before we checked out a staff member informed us that the hotel is closing in September and they have all lost their jobs. They had not been provided with any other information as to was it sold etc.
For me, regardless of the upcoming closure, if you are going to charge a premium 4 star price provide a 4 star service.
This property has potential to be a premium resort with the right management

This hotel is well appointed and situated with luxurious pool and the majority of the staff very accommodating. Some staff need to smile more and be a little friendlier. Overall a good visit and happy.
