Having recently returned after yet another of more than a decade of visits to Antigua, the great majority based at Cocobay, the magic remains undiminished.
The people throughout the Island are warm, welcoming and hospitable, and 'Team Cocobay' remain consistently excellent.
The resort has been built on an outstanding headland, with beautifully kept gardens, well maintained rustic cabins, and access to clean and sandy beaches.
The all inclusive package of varied menus and beverages is remarkably good value, and is admirably complemented by nearby local restaurants offering typically Caribbean fare.
Cocobay is conveniently placed for walking into the tranqil hinterland to enjoy the verdant countryside and the extraordinary range of flora, fauna, and birdlife which inhabit the Island.
Taxis and local buses offer regular transport to enjoy Antigua's main sporting and cultural events, its wealth of diverse religious services, its heritage sites, the rainforest, and the ever vibrant St Johns.
Regular ferry services offer links to Barbuda and Montserrat, again, well worth a visit.
Live music events both within Cocobay and beyond encapsulate the sheer vivacity of life in the Island.
As two of the many people who continue to return to Cocobay, we would encourage you to come and find out for yourselves, and yes, we have now confirmed our next visit in 2012More
