Staff are great, rooms are clean and comfortable. The double bed is a small double. The room has lots of space, and good shower. Radiator heated rooms. Not much of a view, but the bar is good, with a nice menu for dinner.

We contacted the hotel - to be sure that everything works fine - way before we planned to stay there and always received a reply within short time. They were always helpful and gave us several useful tips. We (4 people) arrived October 16th (yes the day with the strongest weather since 60 years) by car and the manager told us that were more or less the only people in the hotel because of the storm. Several checked out early - several did cancel because of the storm. The staff helped us to organize everything that we needed and the food that we had in the restaurant was delicious - even had Live Music the day after (October 17th). Thumbs up!

Stayed for one night in November. Ronan went beyond the call of duty to look after us. The dinner served to us that evening was outstanding. A big thank you to Ronan and staff for a wonderful stay. I most certainly will call again.

We loved our brief stay at the Cliffs of Moher Hotel. From the outside it is unassuming but the interior is nice and the restaurant inviting. Original art lines the lobby and plenty of local interest reading material is laying about. Books, magazines and coffee table books help introduce local history and literature of the area. Roland is a top drawer hotelier and a wonderful host. The food was delicious. My wife is vegetarian and there was plenty for her to eat. The seafood chowder I had was absolutely the best chowder I ever had and the brown bread, delicious. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the Cliffs Moher, Doolin and the west coast of Ireland.

Positives:

Lovely staff, great location, comfy bed, breakfast was great!

Negatives:

Room was extremely hot. No bottles of water provided in room. Most hotels would have a bottle of water for guests, especially at the price we paid for the hotel! And considering the room was so hot.. I asked in the bar for a glass of tap water to take up and the lady said the tap water was "a bit dodgy" so I ended up forking out 3 euro for a bottle of mineral water... otherwise all was good though :)
