It is absolutely amazing to drive down to Santiago through this barren and rough landscape and then arrive at this pampering hotel. It spreads over a large area on top of the cliff with all the apartments in two-story buildings with lots of green and flowers all around. A lift takes you down to sea level where you have a seawater pool and a restaurant and a bar.
Breakfast and dinner were of high quality. The room was spotless with a wonderful balcony out to the sea. So, superficially, everything was perfect. However, the atmosphere was somehow decadent. Such affluence in a basically poor area and so many overfed and obese people! We did not feel at ease, which at that price is a shame.More
