Visited while on a turtle spotting trip, the boat took us to and in to the cave (smaller boats can fit inside) then we were able to swim off the boat and through the cave and out the other side. Small beach is also accessible, good stop off point for 30 - 60 minutes.

We used the Keri Cave Tours company whilst in Limni Keri last week. It was towards the end of our week-long stay up in the hills at the very good Keri Village and Spa resort. We had watched the little glass bottomed boats, crammed full of excited tourists, leave the concrete quayside, (watch out for the ankle-breaking pot-holes), setting off on their exploration of the local waters, turtle spotting, visiting Marathonisi island, and culminating in a short stop at the Blue caves. On the day we were booked to go at 12pm, we refused to clamber aboad the already overloaded boat to which we had been assigned, and we re-allocated a later trip on a smaller, more accessible boat. I mention this as I am unable to raise my left leg beyond a right angle owing to recent hip operation, and on the first craft you had to be pretty fit to climb up on its prow, and slither across its wet fibre-glass over-cockpit, to access the small seating area. Our later excursion, on a smaller and less crowded craft, took out into the clear, clean waters of the Lagana bay, and we circled fruitlessly for some 25 minutes, searching for our allusive prey. After some time, we motored off to nearby Cameo island, off Agios Sopsis, with its extraordinary sailcloth sunshades, and rounded the island to see, and, lo and behold....there was a large, female turtle just surfacing, just!
Because we had seen the guaranteed turtle sighting, we set off to nearby Marathonisi
( Turtle) island, stopping for a 40 minute swim off the beautiful sandy beach, decorated with many fine bodies from the nearby, very lively resort of Laganas. Our final stop was the stunningly spectacular caves of Keri, where we were given a further 20 minutes to swim in the clear waters, some of us, not me, swimming deep into the caves. All in all, a nice way to spend 3 hours, and good value to at €10 per person.
