Lovely hotel in the countryside with beautiful views. Great friendly service from the staff and the management were very helpful and accommodating. You need a car to get anywhere but we were happy with that.

Will definitely be back!

We (family with 3 children of 11, 13 and 14) had a truly wonderfull stay in this charming and peacefull hotel, during the holy week in easter. The rooms are very clean and cosy. They offer a nice bathroom, a minibar and lovely beds ! The staf is very friendly, especially hostlady Inge is really helpfull (thanks for all your suggestions) and knows how to handle children. Nice pool with BBQ area and charming place to have dinner inside and outside. Great sangria served while enjoying the sunset with a beautiful view on the mountains. Excellent breakfast with fresh orange juice, cornflakes and fruit salad.
The hotel is ideally located to make excursions to Caminito del Rey, Malaga (sea port and holy procession are a must see!), Antequera (el Torcal), Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada and to go bike riding or hiking. The kids had a blast with the cortijo's dunkey and carriage tour followed by a superb picnic at the river. They could even see giant bulls and hold their horns !
We will definitely return !
Best regards y mucho suerte !

You made us feel important and looked after since our first contact, while we visited you on our pre-tour as well as during the many email conversations.
Inge and María José answered all our questions and requests with competence and extreme professionalism.

Having arrived with our first group, we experienced a beautiful setting, well trained staff and a special guest treatment, even for our precious motorbikes.

Every day we looked forward to breakfast and dinner, as every meal was an new surprise.
Not only was it a culinary experience, it was also a joy to taste the passion ‘our’ chefs put in just to please the German boys.

All staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, no extra request has ever been denied.
And for us, it was a pleasure to look into friendly smiling faces all the time, every day.

We had called in here over the past few years for a coffee or lunch, but our experiences had been rather mediocre, however this week we enjoyed our lunch here.

We sat outside in the (rather scruffy) garden overlooking the parking area. The atmosphere is lovely and tranquil, and our table was in dappled sun-shine.

For a main course I ordered the verduras de la plancha which was excellent - the best ever. It had been prepared with care, there was six vegetables and it was cooked perfectly. My partner had the solomillo cerdo in a raisin and Pedro Ximinez sauce which was also rather good. It came with vegetables and chips.

A bottle of the house white and a bottle of water.

Bill came to E48 excl. a tip. Service was good.

We will return for a snack or lunch, but it is a shame it looks so uncared-for. The very pretty courtyard needed sweeping and all the tables had leaves and debris on them and no table was laid ready for diners. This creates a poor first impression, but stay with it and you will have a very pleasant experience.

Room Tip: We have never stayed here, simply called in for lunch

Dear Sir,

Thanks so much for your oppinion, for us is very important to improve every day.
We really sorry if you think that our restaurant (the terrasse) is uncared. We brush the floor and we clean the tables every morning, but if are outside, it's autumn and we are surrounded by trees and plants it's normal you see leafs everywhere.

Best regards

We have been staying for 5 days in Cortijo del ARTE and had a wonderful time.
It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.
Our duplex room was spacious, looking over the swimming pool.
The staff is very kind and food is excellent.
We visited Malaga (it's very easy to go there by train), had a Nice Tour at the country Side in a carriage with horses and did the Camino del Rey.
It's a place to go over again
