It was with a certain amount of 'trepidation' that my my wife and I (both 70 years of age) agreed to join our family at the hotel never having been to any such establishment before. We had visions of overcrowded facilities and children running wild and unsupervised. What needless worries! We haven't enjoyed a week's holiday so much in years.
From the transport to and from the airport, welcoming staff and accommodation (we had an immediate room change due to a specific issue but there was absolutely no problem) the arrival/departure process was essentially flawless. We were extremely pleased about the friendliness of the staff, and how the meal sittings and food (ample choices and good fare) were managed The quality of the Thomas Cook children's activities and calibre of young team leaders have to be acknowledged.
The swimming pool and surrounding areas were excellent although my wife and I were wary of the slippery tile flooring. We (and others we noticed) did lose our footing on occasion despite warning boards strategically placed to advise the 'unwary'.
After 'lights out' for the children the evening entertainment was real fun and diverse (professional Spanish dancers, ABBA female impersonators etc) and these rounded off each evening superbly.
Would we return? We most certainly would!More
