We have stayed at Villa Rena several times, Jonny and Rena have become dear friends. Our stay was as always special, we only wish we could of stayed longer. Nothing is too much trouble and it's a great place to relax and chill by the pool.We always have our holiday September/October when the weather is always good and it's quieter which suits us.Hope to be back soon.

We (2 couples) stayed for 2 weeks at Villa Rena: our stay in paradise. The rooms, the linen and the pool were very clean. Our hosts friendly and helpful. Rena gived us all the info about the island, loaned her own car for our purchases. If their was something missing in the kitchen of something to repair Jonny or Rena helped us immediately. Surroundings quiet and beautiful, Villa Rena close to bakery, super markets and tavernas.
Of course September is not so crowded and give the hosts the possibility to "pamper" their guests, what we appreciated. Thank you Rena and Jonny !

Well having visited Villa Rena in the past, I thought, whilst staying in Batsi, Andros, I would visit again this year with my son.

On arrival, we were greeted by Rena the owner of Villa Rena in a way that only family would greet you. Rena remembered both myself and my 10 year old son from when we visited some 5 years earlier. She made us welcome and quickly provided us with a room, that had been freshly made up with fresh bedding and towels. The air conditioning system was excellent and both my son and I, spent most of the day swimming in the excellently maintained pool and surrounding areas.

Both Rena and Jony were friendly and accomodating. Rena introduced Chippie her dog and Louis her cat to my son and also accommodated every need whilst we were there.

Upon departure, Rena provided us a changing room, storage for our cases and shower room, to freshen up before we departed.

All in all a 5 star service was provided by Villa Rena. I'm not sure of some of the negative comments that have been made on Tripadvisor regarding this accomodation, as I could not find any faults at all.

Regarding payment for our stay, this was quick, painless and faultless. I just asked Rena, how much the final bill was for our stay and paid her in cash......... no problems.

Well done once again Rena and Jony, hopefully we will see you again, sometime very soon.

Room tip: Rooms just to bottom of the steps from the pool and up onto first balcony, ideal and close to the pool. (Sleeps 2, double bed or twin).

This was our third stay in Batsi, our first at Villa Rena. From when we arrived to when we left we were treated as old friends by Rena and Joni. Our room was exactly as we had hoped for, the one with the spiral staircase on the website. Everything about the accommodation was spotlessly clean: the rooms, the balcony, the bathrooms, the pool and the bar. Our two young children wanted to spend all day in the small but perfectly formed pool. The food from the pool bar was lovely and good value for money, and the Amstel in the frozen glasses was served at the perfect temperature! We will definitely be returning to this lovely place, at our children's insistence!

Villa Rena is a wonderful little hotel. I call it the definition of Greek vacations because Rena and Johnny are amazing friendly people taking care of you, preparing your coffee, hotel location is on the right place of Batsi, hotel rooms are small but each one different and unique, you climb stairs to move around, there is a great small pool, a bar/cafe, a garden to walk or let your kids, pets friendly, a traditional path taking you down the city center in 4 minutes, free wi-fi, peaceful, some rooms have great sea view, some others garden view AND GREAΤ value for PRICE. If you are a couple or family with kids this is the place to be while you are always online for you business. If you go solo the same. If you go with friends the pool and the garden will give you great long nights. If you like fancy suites with shiny elevators Villa Rena is not for you, too cute, too traditional, too real. Go to hilton. Thank you Rena we will be back.

Room tip: Ask Rena to give you 1st floor rooms with a sea view if available. I think 4-5 have that view.
