We booked a three night stay at Deneki Lakes Bed and Breakfast for our visit to Denali National Park and Preserve. We could not have been happier with our decision to stay with Marianne at her Bed and Breakfast! The setting was idyllic, with beautiful views from each and every window of the forest and mountains. The house and rooms were bright, airy, very comfortable, and very clean. Fritz and Marianne clearly thought everything through carefully in preparing their home for guests. Marianne's breakfasts were to die for and her willingness to prepare a wonderful salmon sandwich lunch at a modest cost for our day long bus trip to see Denali was an added bonus to the stay. On top of that, Marianne is a wonderful person, extremely friendly, welcoming, and interested in making sure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable.

The location of Deneki Lakes Bed and Breakfast is 10 miles south of the Park entrance, but sufficiently close by to make it easy to get to and from the Park by car. That also put us far enough from the hubbub of the park and the nearby community to make the stay even more peaceful and relaxing. In addition, there are restaurants a short drive from the B & B or in the Park community so we never really had to worry about finding something to eat for dinner. We can't recommend Deneki Lakes Bed and Breakfast enough for anyone wishing to spend time at Denali!

Thank you, Marianne and Fritz!

Our four-day-trip to Alaska was organized by the qualified guides Fritz and Marianne owners of Deneki Lakes Bed and Breakfast.
It was an excellent balance between having trips to spots where you can find peace and relaxation (forests, rivers, lakes, Denali National Park surrounded with the chain of the snow mountains) and visiting more vivid places (Hotsprings Chena, Alyeska, Talkeetna and Kenai Fjords National Park (cruise).
Staying at Deneki Lakes Bed and Breakfast we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and slept like bears in one of the two bedrooms they have.
Many thanks for the unique trip

we enjoyed a nice, quiet stay here. Breakfast was delicious and the room was clean. We were the only guests that evening. The host and hostess are very nice and knowledgable about the park and area. The atmosphere is sterile but the view makes up for it! a few miles from Denali park, so convenient

We stayed at Deneki lake for 2 nights and it was absolutely wonderful experience The rooms are extremely clean and fresh and looks like it was just build. The beds were very comfortable and breakfasts absolutely spectacular, Everything fresh and home made. I should've asked Marianne for the bag of her home made granola!
And Marianne also helped me with the planning and answered all my questions very fast prior to our arrival.

Our room was spacious and clean with wonderful appointments. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The breakfasts were superb. We felt "at home" and would highly recommend this B&B to all who want to relax and enjoy the area. Thank you so much, Marianne and Fritz.

Room Tip: Either room is fine. One has twin beds, one a queen bed. Both have a bathroom.
