We spent 6 nights at the Paradise Sun Hotel and enjoyed it quite a bit. We had stayed in the Seychelles before (Mahe) but found the staff unfriendly. Paradise Sun on the other hand was great! The staff friendly and helpful, food was great (Nice selection) and the location was awesome. We had a bit of rain, but it didnt spoil our holiday. The sunny days were heaven!
We cant wait to go back!!!

Room Tip: Get an upper level room, they seem to be a bit more private.

We received excellent service from all the staff - friendly and efficient. Great food - good quality and wide selection from the buffet for breakfast and dinner. Very good waiters. I never wore shoes as even the restaurant has a sand floor and it is right on the beach. Great beach - long stretch of soft white sand, clean beaches and if it is not clean, having seaweed on it, they rake it away all the time and remove it., warm clear waters. Showers, spaced out evenly, right there by the beach to rinse you off as you come out the sea, if you wish. Plenty comfortable loungers lined down along the beach. A clean beach towel every day or just ask if you need another one. Lovely gardens and pool. Pity about the smokers around the pool area and relaxation lounge. You can lie under trees on the beach. Ghee wizz, lovely. Great location - very private on the beach as it lies in a cove. Spacious clean rooms. We had room 41. It was an upstairs unit and very peaceful. All the good reviews are true. Great free entertainment during the day, kayaks, balls, volleyball etc. Free sunset cruise once a week that you can not miss. I only had my costume on and took a towel. You can jump in the deep ocean once the boat anchors for a while. Fantastic band on some evenings - not invasive by being too loud. Lots of bord games to use. Extra excursions and other islands are a stone throw away. Snorkeling and diving company situated right next to the hotel. I think it was called White Tip Divers or something like that. We had Excotic Vacations as our tour operator in South Africa and Select-Seychlles took over from them in Seychelles. They were fantastic and gave us magnificent service. Try to deal with these companies if you can. We tried to extend our 7 day stay while we were there but unfortunatley it was fully booked (September) Take things in your stride, this is an island. What more can I say. What more do you need.

We are in love with this special spot in the world! Long, white beach, palm trees, turquoise ocean - the setting IS Paradise! We love the restaurant on the beach with sand beneath your feet. We love lying on beach beds under trees with the splendour of sea, sand and sky before you. We love the rooms that make you feel like you are living in a private, well managed, residential complex at the coast. And we love the people who give the hotel it's unique personal character AND make it work!

We have known the Paradise Sun over many years and in particular the last few where the management style is creating an interconnected team of friendly, focused individuals who have the customer at heart!

It really does feel like good, old fashioned service although it's crazy to use that phrase in a modern service driven society. However, sincere service is rare. Many tend to think that 'service' is an exercise you 'do' to get something rather than a value or belief you have about caring for people and going out of your way to assist where possible. Here service is becoming a part of the package .... not just the 'brochure'/marketing version .... But the genuine thing!

There's lots to do on Pralin Island, but for us, it's a quiet sojourn for escape and total restoration. At the Paradise Sun you can be yourself, in relative obscurity,in a sophisticated community of international guests who travel far for a remote exclusive vacation in the Seychelles.

The hotel is not pretending to be a 5 star hi-glamour, hi-prestige property (and there is no room service). But it is high quality, it is excellent value and it is exclusive! In all our travels around the world, there is nothing like it! People make all the difference and that is priceless!

Thank you to all who made our recent special birthday celebration such a moving and wonderfully happy experience. May you all go from strength to strength and keep aiming high.

The only other thing that would be nice is a small basic gym.

Room Tip: We love 79 cause we spend a lot of time on the balcony looking over the beach and sea setting. But t...

My spouse and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful getaway. Wonderful staff, good buffet spread if you opt for the half-board (and recommend you do as the last thing one wants to do on a relaxing getaway is scavenge for food / shops open after dusk) and great location. Also, barely 50m away from the dining hall are the WhiteTip Divers (PADI certified); it was a great convenience to us as we enjoy diving. The spa was peaceful with a wonderful outdoor rainshower. Lots of geckos, not for the faint-hearted.

The GM and Manager of the hotel were warm and welcoming; and the Manager was seen interacting and ensuring that his guests were happy and well cared for.

Overall a clean and well-kept property overlooking a beautiful beach setting that we would definitely return to on our next visit there.
