In the outskirts of the little village of Snogebæk you find this pearl, easily reached by bus (bus from Rønne stops 100 meters from the hotel). Actually this is more lika a B&B than a hotel, as you get the special treatment you often enjoy at smaller and more personal places. The owner, Henrik Christensen, and his lovely family runs this familyhotel almost on their own and they cater for everything during your stay. Henrik is a superb guy serving you with everything from great food to bustimetables. We even got help changing our ferrytickets on the day of our departure. The service and hospitality of this "hotelpension" certainly plays in the same league as many of the topranked hotels and guesthouses I have stayed at.

Here are some features that makes Snogebæk Hotelpension THE place to stay at when you visit Bornholm:

*The food!
- Henriks 85-year old (he rather looks like 65) dad is in charge of the superb breakfast buffet, containing several kinds of freshly baked bread, a big selection of cheeses and ham, pickled herring, sausages, boiled and scrambled eggs, pancakes, yoghurt, different types of müsli and flakes, vegetables, fresh fruit ... you name it, and it's there.
- In the evenings (not Sundays) you also have the option to join dinner, prepared by Henrik and his wife and served by their daughter. We tried a couple of other restaurants at Bornholm during our stay but the food we had at Snogebæk Hotelpension was by far the most delicious.

*Service and hospitality
- see above.

*The possibility to rent bikes directly at the hotel

*The lovely warmed up indoor pool.

... and finally three things you mustn't miss when on holiday in this area (except from Snogebæk Hotelpension itself ...)

*Kjærstrup Choclate-shop (on main street in Snogebæk)
*Svaneke (and old markettown with lovely little streets and a lot of great things to see and taste for the gourmet-traveller)
*Duodde Beach (the best beach I have ever seen, including the one in Koh Samui, Thailand!!! The sand of this beach - which is reachable by bike from Snogebæk - is fine as flour...)
