It is really up in the middle of the jungle. A little inconvenient to get there unless you have a car. Other than that, it is a beautiful place amongst the nature. Really quiet. Huge villa. Great for a family retreat. Breakfast is served to your veranda. I went with my husband for our anniversary trip and we enjoyed the quiet time. They had in house karaoke, a shared swimming pool. It was value for money.

The resort is located outbound from the hustle bustle city, it is surrounded by forest and it is very suitable for escape from city. The only imperfection of this resort is the road leading from city to the resort, it is very dangerous narrow road. Some more, it is very dark during night, there is no street light. The signage leading all the way up to resort is small and damaged, some are not clear enough to see. Phone signal is very weak so it is hardly to contact if misleading the road. The staffs are helpful in the resort, the resort is very good. Maintenance should improved as wood inside the resort seems old. You have to bring own food for dinner, they only provide breakfast.
Had always wanted to stay in an accomodation nested in the forest. Fig Tree Hill Resort totally fit the bill! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. With the sound of nature surrounding you, it could just allow one to rest, relax and unwind yourselves. Lily was very kind in making arrangement prior to our visit and transport arrangement. As for dinner option there are no restaurant within the vicinity, we would need to get our food from the nearest Giant. This makes our stay even more special where we get to BBQ and steamboat in the arms of mother nature! The hike up to 541 美人山 was quite a bit to climb and a good form of exercise. If you enjoy taking photos of nature, this is a nice place to visit too. Highly recommended to anyone who likes nature! Do prepare insect repellent and mozzie patch 😉!
We had great time experiencing a new type of living.. Staying for 3 days Was not enogh.. A place with every thing you need just in a silence place
We enjoyed the BBQ nights..But Hope there was some food supply nearby! Hope to go back again and see new things there.
The wood house...the surroundings, are just simply amazing, the trees, birds chirping..nature. it was a perfect weekend! This resort is one of a kind and there is no such other resorts of this high standards anywhere else in penang so its on top of our list always. :)
