Great staff, politely as always. Rooms are average, but always clean. The food in the restaurant is very good, the thematic nights also. Тhe location is very accessible due to the fact that the bus stop is literally in front of the hotel.Great atmosphere!

I really should be slating this resort for the quality/condition of our room but that would be unfair because during my visit I learned that new owners took over at the end of last year and they are in the process of renovating the rooms and restaurants. As they have begun the process maybe not all of the rooms will be as "tired" as our apartment.

I will be taking this up with the people I booked with who were aware of the conditions but did not tell us.

The plus points. The front of house and waiting staff are excellent, maybe the room cleaners could do with a few lessons and a new mop! The public areas are however immaculate.

The location is great with plenty of decent eateries within walking distance. The Kaygans Bar on site is great for drinks and food as is the restaurant.

There is a cracking bus service (No 467) Los Christianos and beyond just outside the door, although don't rely on the timetable. Reception will book tickets for things like the water park for the same price as queuing and buying at the location.

It is not the quietest place to stay and there is no chance of a lie-in if you have a room facing the pool as the "pool guy" likes to start a bit early. The apartment we stayed in was a good size and overlooked the pool, being on the north side of the complex the balconies also caught the sun from about lunchtime until early evening.

Once the new owners have renovated the place it will be excellent and I wish them well with their plans.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the pool on the north side of the complex facing the pool have the better views and get the sun.

A very nice resort, although in a residential area of Tenerife. Pool area is very clean and inviting as are the staff members. Good area for walks along the coast. The local bus stops right outside the front door and takes you the Los Christianos.

My wife spent two weeks in the Marino and find it to be very quiet and very close to many great restaurants The apartments are large and well equipped and the hotel has been taken over and many improvements are been made and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a small bar on site called Kayans run by Steve Amy and Lucy and on Friday he serves fish and chips that you must have as the fish you could die for.

Room Tip: All great and guiet

The positive are lots for the price: professional staffs, clean apartment and fully functional with everything that you need for a week or two of rest. It's a very quiet hotel and ideal for a couple looking to rest and relax. Right out of the hotel and right again there is a real Italian restaurant/pizzeria where you can eat well for a great price. Supermarket just in front of the hotel with lots of locally produced and local drinks. Bed good and comfy. Swimming pool large, clean and well kept daily. Structure in great condition but not new.

The negative are minors: lack of air-conditioning and no beach close by. Pay the extra money and get an apartment with a pool view or you will get an apartment with a back balcony and a road view.
