It has been a few weeks since we last popped in and while a ultra busy Saturday morning. The service and food was outstanding and definitely Kipper’tastic.

Always friendly, a little quirky, always welcoming we have definitely adopted Room No.9 as our go to place above anywhere else.

I called to book afternoon tea for 2 adults and a 6 year old, I asked what discount they offer for children , specifically my 6 year old. The lady asked the cafe manager who clearly did not understand why discount would be given so the lady explained a child would not eat as much . They only offered to knock off a couple of pounds unlike every other afternoon tea offering in Leighton buzzard that charges half. I didn’t bother going.

This is always such a cheery place to be - on the first floor above a great eclectic shop with crafts and gifts below, the cafe has views out over the High street so you can see the architecture of the town and is usually bright and cheerful even on an overcast day.

It feels homely with a nice mix of tables and chairs and a good range of soups and cakes on offer, and various other things.

I have never come away from here disappointed and only wish I could visit more!
