Very clean, friendly and homely pub/hotel. Single room but very comfortable, clean with everything you could want for a great price (certainly don’t let the single put you off as it’s more than enough if you are travelling alone)

Great food with very good service and a quick mention to JA + Joe - great service on the bar, very friendly and polite, something that seems to be the bread and butter of this pub/hotel.

If I’m ever in Bristol again, I won’t hesitate to book here again and save myself hour searching through pages and pages of hotels.

We went for breakfast and the food was lovely. Can’t praise the staff enough - lovely, friendly and so helpful particularly because we took our 4 month old son and our dog!! Big shout out to Jo who really looked after us. Thank you! In the words of Arnie… We’ll be back!! :)

Visited Thursday evening for a meal with friends. Had a lovely time. Good atmosphere and very well hosted by Jo the manager. Food decent and good value.

Rubbish , the service was horrific and the rooms were dirty and the food was overpriced , avoid at all costs there are better near by

My wife and I had dinner here this evening and were very pleasantly surprised. Good honest food and generous portions at a very reasonable price. Totally unpretentious and good Timothy Taylors real ale too. Our waitress Jo was brilliant, and has a great sense of humour which added to our enjoyment of the evening. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.
